About culinary education in Australia

How culinary education is structured

Professional cookery in Australia is taught mainly as nationally coded vocational qualifications (for example Certificate III in Commercial Cookery SIT30821, Certificate IV in Kitchen Management SIT40521 and Certificate IV in Patisserie SIT40721) delivered by registered training organisations, with degrees such as a Bachelor of Culinary Management offered by some institutes. International students enrol in courses carrying CRICOS codes.
