About culinary education in Mexico

How culinary education is structured

Private institutions in Mexico need an RVOE (Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial de Estudios) from the SEP or a state education authority for a study plan to be part of the national education system. Culinary study is offered as university Licenciaturas (for example eight semesters at Universidad Anahuac) and as school-issued diplomas such as the Le Cordon Bleu Mexico Diplomados. Whether a given diploma carries an RVOE must be checked per programme; it was not verified for the schools covered here.
