About culinary education in Türkiye

How culinary education is structured

Culinary education in Türkiye sits in two layers among the providers researched. Universities run gastronomy and culinary arts bachelor's programmes (for example Özyeğin University in English and Bahçeşehir University in Turkish), and the Council of Higher Education (CoHE/YÖK) manages the Study in Türkiye portal for foreign applicants. Private academies and international-brand schools offer shorter professional programmes: Le Cordon Bleu Istanbul runs provider-issued Diplôme and Grand Diplôme programmes on Özyeğin's campus, and Mutfak Sanatları Akademisi (MSA) states that its professional programmes are approved by the Ministry of National Education. YÖK Atlas registers could not be read automatically, so university programme recognition was not independently verified.
