Results are listed alphabetically. There is no price ranking because tuition in different currencies, periods and bases is not comparable. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change recognition status, verification or order.
Culinary education in Spain spans official vocational training (Grado Medio and Grado Superior cycles, including Dirección de Cocina), university degrees in gastronomy awarded by universities such as Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, and private school diplomas that are not state degrees.
Names and levels are local to Spain. Similar names in other countries are not interchangeable.
Teaching languages. Spanish is the main teaching language; Basque Culinary Center teaches some subjects in English, Le Cordon Bleu Madrid offers simultaneous interpretation into English, and CIB provides English support.
Tuition context. Private programmes are fee-based: for example EUR 11,903 per academic year at Basque Culinary Center (2027-28), EUR 15,950 for the one-year Hofmann Diploma Profesional de Cocina and EUR 26,620 for the CIB Chef de Alta Cocina diploma (January 2027 intake). Source
Admissions. University degrees require meeting Spanish university access requirements or their foreign equivalent through the university applicant portal; private diplomas run their own interview-based admissions. Source
