Culinary schools in Japan

36 researched schools and 2 verified programs. This is the research done to date, not a complete list of every provider in Japan.

Results are listed alphabetically. There is no price ranking because tuition in different currencies, periods and bases is not comparable. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change recognition status, verification or order.

About culinary education in Japan

How culinary education is structured

Professional cookery and pastry training in Japan is delivered largely by vocational schools (専修学校) such as the Tsuji Culinary Institute, with courses of one to three years taught in Japanese. The Tsuji Osaka school states that its one-year cookery course leads to the Japanese cook's licence (調理師免許). The Le Cordon Bleu Japan site states its Daikanyama campus in Tokyo is closing and directs students to the wider network.
